Event Description

Our KS3 weekly Maths course is designed for students who want to challenge themselves and work ahead of the national curriculum’s expectations. 

A qualified teacher and highly specialised tutor with a background in Actuarial Science and Mechanical Engineering. He shares our ethos in providing tailored tuition to suit the pupil’s learning style and needs. He brings a breadth and depth of experience to the team. He has 15000+ hours of 1-2-1 teaching experience and has taught over 600+ private tutees. He specialises in Maths and Further Maths and teaches pupils from KS1 to A Levels. He also offers sessions for Oxbridge University entrance exam preparation. He also has extensive experience in teaching pupils with SEN and has worked for Local Authorities for many years.

  • Target Students: Students with predicted 6 to 9
  • Session Length: Every lesson will be 1 hours long.
  • Assessment: Course tutors will use a variety of different means to measure student progress throughout each session; assessment methods included group discussions, individual questioning, worked examples, peer review and past paper questions.
  • Homework: After each session students will be set homework to complete on the focus area covered in the previous lesson. This will comprise of past paper questions and can be completed online.
  • Platform: Lessons will take place on Zoom, which is free and straightforward for students to use. A link will be sent out ahead of the course start date. Take a look at this video to see our online teaching in action.
  • Maximum Class Size: We teach in groups of no more than 10, with the average class size being 5.

The content covered in this course is the GCSE Maths year 10.
